Orange Jordan and “Farah Al Nas” announce the conclusion of the first phase of JO Art initiative

​Orange Jordan announced the conclusion of the first phase of its JO Art initiative, launched in cooperation with "Farah Al Nas" radio, affiliated with the Jordanian Hashemite Fund for Human Development (JOHUD). The initiative aims to beautify the streets of the Kingdom, through encouraging young artists to showcase their distinctive talent in the art of graffiti across the streets in different areas of the Kingdom.The announcement came at a press conference held at the Youth Hall at Al-Hussein Technical University (HTU), in the presence of the Secretary General at the Ministry of Youth, Dr. Thabet Al-Nabulsi, and the participation of PR, CSR, and Corporate Communication Director at Orange Jordan, Eng. Rana Dababneh, Brand and Communication Director at Orange Jordan, Touleen Barto, and Deputy Executive Director - Leadership and Entrepreneurship at JOHUD, Mohammad Al-Amoush, and Farah Al Nas Director, Heba Jawhar.Dr. Nabulsi praised the joint partnership between Orange Jordan and JOHUD, stressing that the Ministry of Youth is always ready to fully support any initiative that stimulates and supports the youth, and has a positive impact on the community. Nabulsi also thanked all the involved parties in the initiative, due to the important role they played in beautifying the Kingdom, and spreading hope and joy throughout Jordan.Eng. Dababneh said that this national initiative came as part of promoting both, the cultural and artistic scenes in the Kingdom, through beautifying our old cities and adding to them an artistic touch, mixed with a modern spirit, thanking Orange Jordan's partners for their continuous cooperation and efforts in making this important initiative a success. She pointed out that the next phase of the initiative will entail bringing a group of children and artists and adults in the community, to put their special print on a wall in "Dahiyat Al-Hussein" area.She added that the JO Art initiative is considered to be part of the company's continuous CSR efforts that aim to provide an added value to all segments of society across the Kingdom.From her side, Barto spoke about the positive impact of such initiatives on society and Orange Jordan's interest in the youth segment, pointing out that this initiative is part of the YO campaign that targets the youth and which was launched by the company about two years ago, where it responds to the needs of the youth, through providing telecommunications and internet services in an easier way, with exceptional features.Barto announced the launch of a special competition for the initiative, through which the company will offer people opportunities to win valuable prizes just by taking a photo with any of the initiative's drawings and posting them using the initiative's special hashtag, #فن_بكل_مكان.Al-Amoush said that the interaction of the local community with the drawings, and their desire to beautify walls was one of the most important motives that contributed to the continuation of this initiative and similar activities, in addition to the cooperation and support of the involved institutions, adding that Farah Al Nas radio is considered to be a platform that encourages the youth to express themselves in different and creative ways, including drawing, in order to raise the value of beauty, and spread colors and joy. -END-​
