Orange Jordan celebrates Mother’s Day and International Women’s Day

​CEO of Orange Jordan, Thierry Marigny affirmed the company's ongoing efforts to empower, support, and motivate women, whether it is in the internal work environment, through any of its offered services, or to women in the community, through the programs designed by Orange Jordan to serve them, starting with employment opportunities, career development and facilitating leadership positions, as well as community-based programs that support women in different issues and challenges they face.Marigny said, during his participation in a ceremony that was recently held by Orange Jordan at its main headquarters to celebrate two special occasions; Mother's Day and International Women's Day, that women make up 25% of employees in the company, which clearly signifies Orange Jordan's trust in women and the importance of their role in achieving the company's objectives, pointing out the significant number of women holding leadership positions at the company.The celebration was attended by Chief Human Resources Officer, Ghada Jamal Fares and PR, CSR, and Corporate Communication Director, Rana Dababneh and employees from the company.The event was also attended by a number of distinguished women from different sectors, including the Media Specialist Ghada Saba, Shirene Rifai, Founder and CEO of Shirene Rifai Consulting and Jordan Fashion Week, as well as media and social activist Eman Akour, Fedaa Assaf, owner of Artnouveau_Jo, which transforms traditional designs into modern ones, as well Co-Founder and Executive Director of Masmoo3 for audio knowledge and Jane's Literary Tourism, Ala'a Mohammed Suleiman. From her side, Ghada Fares said that Orange Group and 15 of its affiliates, including Orange Jordan received the Gender Equality European and International Standard (GEEIS) certification, in addition to the Top Employer Global Award for three consecutive years from the Global Top Employers Institute, affirming the company's efforts to create an exemplary work environment for its employees, focusing on women, which reflects the company's commitment and active initiatives in achieving gender equality in the workplace. The ceremony included a panel discussion on a woman's life between home and work, with the participation of female guests who talked about their career and how to balance personal life with work, the challenges they encountered during their career journey, and how they overcame them, where they presented the experiences they went through and discussed the most effective way for working women, in order to balance their professional and personal lives. -End-
