17 Jul 2022
Orange Jordan recently sponsored the "Sawa Jordan Bazaar" which was organized by Al-Harasees company for conferences, under the patronage of the Minister of Tourism and Antiquities, Nayef Al-Fayez, to support women owners of small, medium, and large enterprises by granting them an opportunity to showcase and promote their products and projects on a large scale. The sponsorship comes in line with Orange Jordan's continuous efforts to empower women economically through its sustainable programs, partnerships, and initiatives under the company's corporate social responsibility and stemming from its role as a responsible digital leader.Orange Jordan also supported the participation of 4 projects from the Women Digital Center program which the company implements across the Kingdom, in partnership with the Jordanian Hashemite Fund for Human Development (JOHUD) in 8 centers in 7 governorates, to support women with the digital, managerial, and marketing skills necessary to grow their projects. In the bazaar, Orange Jordan dedicated a booth for each of the four women; Kafa Salim, owner of Um Barhum's kitchen for homemade foods, Ghada Kharyush, owner of a food and baked goods project, Dunya Al-Yaseen, owner of Croshet Donia for handicrafts, and Samira Al-Mutleq, owner of Super Peanut, as they showcased, sold products, and talked to the visitors about their projects and communication opportunities.Orange Jordan said that sponsoring the bazaar is part of its commitment to support women and the value they bring to the local market with their projects, especially as the bazaar presents a platform for marketing and building bridges with potential customers and those interested. The company noted that participating in the bazaar enables women of the Women Digital Center program to benefit from this opportunity alongside several efforts made by this leading program that supported many women across the Kingdom to grow and expand their projects. The event featured women-led projects offering a wide range of high-quality products and handicrafts made in Jordan, attracting many visitors and buyers, as well as social media coverage.
