GSMA Director General tours BIG by Orange Jordan during his visit to the Kingdom

​​​Orange Jordan welcomed the Director General of the GSM Association (GSMA), Mats Granryd, accompanied by GSMA Chief Regulatory Officer, John Giusti and Jawad Abbassi, GSMA Head of MENA, at BIG, Orange Jordan’s growth-mode startup accelerator program at the Grow Building at the King Hussein Business Park. Granryd met with Jordanian mobile industry stakeholders in order to assess the sector in Jordan and plan for future support.During his visit to BIG, Mats Granryd was welcomed by Orange Jordan, Deputy CEO and CFO Raslan Deiranieh and Director of PR, CSR, and Corporate Communications Rana Dababneh, along with BIG Season 3 startups. BIG, which offers support to entrepreneurs, particularly those who already have products, and connects them to all that is essential to grow their businesses, was presented, in addition to showing that the concept of BIG came as an integral part of Orange’s new five-year strategy, Essentials 2020, and its corporate social responsibility strategy, which focuses on entrepreneurial growth. The representatives from Orange shed light on the diverse projects of the currently participating startups and discussed potential for support and knowledge exchange. Commenting on the visit, Deiranieh said: “It is with immense pleasure that we welcome the Director General of the GSMA, Mr. Granryd, to BIG.
