Kenda Is One of Best Arab Entrepreneurial Startups

​Kenda, a company specializes in teaching and reviving Arabic calligraphy art was selected as one of the best 3-startups among 200 participants and 40 entrepreneurial projects in the Arab Innovation Academy challenge and competition that happened in Qatar. Kenda is one of Orange AI Incubator startups launched by Orange Jordan, co-funded by the Innovative Startups and SMEs Fund (ISSF) in cooperation with Princess Sumaya University for Technology (PSUT).  The Orange AI Incubator aims to increase the chance of entrepreneurs at the ideation stage and the startups at the early stage through a training program for a year. The program includes academic training in AI, business management skills, and products development to support them in acquiring investment funds and networking opportunities.  The Founder of Kenda, Mo'men Al Hamed, stated the importance of this winning to enhance and spread the Arabic content through the idea that the project is based on. In addition to its effort towards improving the Arabic content shared online and integrating services into the school curriculum to develop skills and teach writing, and its actions in adopting AI and AR technology in teaching within the 4th industrial revolution. Orange Jordan expressed its pride in the success of Kenda, becoming one of Jordan's best startups. From adopting new technologies, adding value to teaching Arabic calligraphy, to spreading Arabic content, this triumph affirms its commitment to supporting AI-based startups through its incubator and its role as a responsible digital leader. The General Manager of ISSF, Eng. Laith Al Qasem congratulated Kenda for being selected among the top 3-Arab startups. This success reflects the efforts to support ambitious projects that adopt new technology noting the Jordanian skills and talents and its role in developing successful startups and ideas, mainly AI that witnesses massive deployment in the different fields and sectors. It is worth mentioning that Kenda received various awards, most notably was being honored by HM King Abdullah II, one of the best entrepreneurial projects in 2021, and winning first place in the Ministry of Youth's first forum 2021.   -End-
