Launching Orange Money to local markets soon

​CEO of Orange Jordan, Thierry Marigny said that the company has recently announced the launch of electronic wallet service, Orange Money, which will be available to subscribers soon, as part of Orange's global strategy for the Middle East and Africa, which is based on many pillars, such as the automated payment services to make this process easy, secure and highly protected. In a press release issued by the company, Marigny also clarified that Orange Group has been a major supporter for the development of payment through the mobile phone sector and addressing its customers' needs across 17 countries located in the Middle East and Africa, where the company's customer base in this service exceeded 45 million in these countries. The service also had a significant impact on increasing the financial inclusion rate in it.He also pointed out that since Orange Jordan is a local company with an international spirit, it has decided to provide this service to its customers across the Kingdom, where the company has recently signed a strategic agreement between Petra Company for mobile payment services Orange Money and Gate to Pay, the leading financial technology solutions provider for launching Orange Money services.  Moreover, he pointed out that Orange Jordan plays an important role in not only the development of the local telecommunications sector but also in the national economy in general, as the company recognizes that this sector enables the rest of the economic sectors and is a major contributor to the overall development process in the kingdom, including the government's endeavor, represented by the Central Bank of Jordan to intensify the concept of financial inclusion, and to make it a community culture by providing secure and easy electronic payment methods. From his side Chairman of the Board of Directors, Raslan Deiranieh said that to launch this service, the company has signed a strategic agreement with Gate to Pay, under which the latter develops software and systems for Orange Money, to provide users with channels through which they will be able to activate electronic wallets, issue prepaid cards  and  transferring money,  Deiranieh also added that the service will be available to the company's customers once the development and technical support are concluded, in addition to obtaining the essential official approvals. This will give subscribers a new mechanism to pay through their mobile phones easily and with high security. He also discussed the benefits of "Orange Money" service which considered all essential details, most importantly of which are speed, simplicity and security, not requiring a minimum Wallet balance, in addition to the possibility of paying the user's financial obligations to many companies and services.   -END-
