Orange Digital Centers Host the AI Week Africa

​Orange Digital Centers network organized the 1st edition of Artificial Intelligence (AI) Africa Week, including online conferences, seminars, and workshops about AI with experts' participations from the 25th till 29th of January 2021. Group of Orange Jordan employees participated in the activities that included 15 conferences, which gathered top local and international experts from Orange Group, Orange Business Services (OBS), and many Orange MEA subsidiaries in Jordan, Egypt, Morocco, Tunis, Ivory Coast, Madagascar, Senegal, Mali, and Cameron, in addition to representatives from Google, Microsoft, Amazon, IBM, NVIDIA and LVMH.  Orange Jordan Coding Academy students attended the activities to know more about AI; to enhance digital skills in their training program and contribute in preparing them for future opportunities, where AI became essential in various sectors' platforms and applications. This week discussed various AI topics for the different levels including: AI concept, Open Data, AI algorithms, needed skills to succeed in AI and Computational Power needed for AI.  Orange Jordan assured its keenness in participating in important events, giving employees and the Coding Academy students; the opportunity to know more about AI, and benefit from specialized experts from Orange global network, to enhance their future career development.   Its worth mentioning that Orange Digital Center (ODC), includes comprehensive free programs including coding school, Fablabs, startups growth accelerator Orange Fab, in addition to Orange Ventures Africa, the investment fund for startups in MEA.   -End-
