9 Oct 2023

Orange Jordan continues to recognize excellence and care in its large family, as it recently honored 24 top Tawjihi students who scored an average of 90% or higher among the sons and daughters of its employees in a ceremony held at the company’s main headquarters in the Abdali Boulevard.

The company’s CEO, Philippe Mansour, and executive committee members joined the celebration with the students, their families, and many managers and employees.

The ceremony featured several enjoyable activities, as employees, colleagues, and the students came together to enjoy the festivities and celebrate their achievement in a fun, joy-filled atmosphere.

Honoring their hard work and success, Orange Jordan gifted each student a smart mobile phone with a line that supports 5G. The company also presented special gifts to the mothers of the top students in recognition of their role in supporting their children toward excellence.

During the ceremony, Orange Jordan CEO, Philippe Mansour, congratulated the sons and daughters of employees who excelled in Tawjihi on their achievements. He encouraged them to continue striving for excellence in their future academic and professional journey. He also emphasized the company's commitment to recognizing and rewarding achievement at all levels and its keenness to continue to organize activities and initiatives that reflect this commitment.

Chief Legal, Regulatory, Sourcing, Supply Chain, and Human Resources Chief Officer at Orange Jordan, Dr. Ibrahim Harb, expressed his happiness for the academic excellence achieved by the employees' sons and daughters, affirming that this celebration reflects the company's deep commitment to its employees and their wellbeing, and its shared joy in their successes. He also highlighted Orange Jordan's commitment to encouraging excellence, one of the company's core values.

Dr. Ibrahim Harb noted that Orange Jordan will continue to provide scholarships to the sons and daughters of employees for the 16th consecutive year, under specific standards, in line with the agreement signed with the General Union of Workers in Public Services, Liberal Professions, and Post and Telecommunications, to which the company is keen to fully adhere, considering the benefit of all the employees working in the company.

Orange Jordan has awarded 354 scholarships to the sons and daughters of employees as of this year. In the academic year 2023/2024, the company will award 30 more scholarships, bringing the total number of scholarships to 384, added Dr. Ibrahim Harb.

The company had also honored 36 of the top Tawjihi students from all branches for the academic year 2022-2023 in a special ceremony during the “Yesed Sabahak” program organized by Jordan Radio and Television Corporation and presented them with a variety of gifts to support and motivate them to continue to excel.
