Orange Jordan concludes its participation in the Technology and Leadership Conference "Viva Technology"

​Chairman of the Board of Directors of Orange Group, Stephen Richard, affirmed during the VIVA TECH conference that was held in Paris, France, on 16-18 May, the importance of his meeting with His Majesty King Abdullah II last Wednesday in Paris, which came during  the Christchurch call summit, stressing His Majesty's keenness on developing this vital sector through helping international companies operate in the Kingdom.​In a press statement, Richard added that it is important to support entrepreneurs who are interested in global companies in different locations world-wide. He pointed out that helping them to succeed, especially since they have become one of the components of these companies and the economy, is a major supporter of development. Orange Jordan participated in the fourth edition of Viva Technology, specialized in entrepreneurship and technology, under the umbrella of Orange Group, where it supported the participation of the six start-ups that are currently part of its growth-mode accelerator program, "BIG".Orange Jordan's CEO, Thierry Marigny, said that, this conference is considered to be an umbrella which holds under it the most leading entrepreneurs, who have translated their ideas into projects on the ground, pointing out that supporting the participation of BIG startups will open horizons to exchange ideas and experiences with their participating peers from across the world.​He stressed that the conference offers entrepreneurs space to meet investors and businessmen interested in entering partnerships with these pioneers.More than 100,000 participants took part in the conference, including leaders, investors and leaders of the ICT industry. The six participating startups in this edition were given the chance to attend the conference sessions and workshops, and they were able to showcase their services and products within Orange Group's booth, which gave them the opportunity to network with participants in the conference including entrepreneurs, venture capitalists, investors and decision-makers, in addition to paving the way for potential investors for their innovative projects.Viva Technology is a global platform for discussions on the impact of technology on startups and the society, in order to enable them to benefit from different experiences and learn about the latest developments in the world of entrepreneurship and technology.
