Orange Jordan conducts ‘BIG Saturdays’ workshop

​(Amman, Jordan – March , 2016) – As part of its Business Innovation Growth (BIG) program, Orange Jordan recently launched the first iteration of its 'BIG Saturdays' entrepreneurial workshop series. The workshop, entitled "User Experience and Interface," was held at Orange Jordan's BIG premises at the King Hussein Business Park, and aimed to develop the skills and projects of young entrepreneurs while accelerating the growth of their future start-ups. The workshop was led by enterprise experts who lectured on various technical aspects of entrepreneurship and company operations. Among the attendees were the startups supported by Orange Jordan's BIG program, as well as various others who wanted to learn more about User Experience & User Interface design . Material covered in the workshop included application design and distribution, customer service, and pricing strategies. Commenting on the occasion, Orange Jordan CEO Jérôme Hénique said, "'BIG Saturdays' gives entrepreneurs the opportunity to directly benefit from the support and instruction offered through our BIG program. These workshops allow aspiring business owners to receive focused, hands-on lessons that will assist them in all phases of their projects, from concept to implementation."Hénique explained that Orange Jordan plays a significant role in advancing educational development, capacity building, and efficiency growth, allowing it to both teach aspiring business owners and efficiently serve the average consumer. Through BIG, Orange Jordan promotes and grows small- to mid-sized start-ups, which it hopes will lead to positive change in the national economy.Orange Jordan launched the BIG program on the 6th of December last year as part of its new corporate strategy, Essentials 2020. One of the main pillars of Essentials 2020 focuses on growth of entrepreneurship in the Kingdom by seeking out promising young entrepreneurs and providing them with support and a fully-equipped work environment to push their aspiring businesses forward.
