Orange Jordan distributes Iftar meals and food parcels with Tkiyet Um Ali

​In collaboration with Tkiyet Um Ali (TUA), Orange Jordan provided Iftar meals to underprivileged families in Ruseifa, Sahab, Amman, Ein Al Basha and Madaba, and food parcels to families in Jordan's Northern Valley, in Irbid.This campaign falls under the company annual support to TUA's Ramadan program, which includes serving Iftar to fasting Muslims in huge gatherings called "Mawaed Al Rahman" and participating in other activities, this year it delivered meals to beneficiaries at their homes, under the charity's precautionary guidelines aimed at combating COVID-19.Ramadan initiatives are an extension of Orange Jordan and TUA's long-term strategic partnership, aiming to support underprivileged people across the Kingdom and promote social work which in turn contributes to improving the lives of families and communities.The company said that continuing its activities with TUA falls in line with its corporate social responsibility which focuses on supporting all segments of the society, especially in Ramadan which has been witnessed in critical circumstances due to the pandemic.Strengthening partnerships with civil society organizations is so important in this challenging time to ensure supporting those who need help by executing social support programs that consider health and safety measures, the company stressed.Orange Jordan supports TUA's programs by sponsoring families in need across the Kingdom throughout the year, as it sends them a monthly food parcel that contains 24 items, enough to prepare Ramadan's two meals (Suhur and Iftar) and three daily meals over the year.The company's support to TUA is stemmed from its role as an international company working with a local spirit and its national duty in enhancing social solidarity.  -END-
