Orange Jordan holds a free medical day at Umm el-Jimal in line with the Goodwill Campaign

3 Aug 2017
Orange Jordan held a free medical day in cooperation with Jordanian Hashemite Fund for Human Development (JOHUD) and aligned with their Goodwill Campaign at Umm El-Jimal in Mafraq governorate, with the participation of NAMA; Orange Jordan’s Corporate Social Responsibility Volunteer Club, along with a group of doctors, nurses and pharmacists. The total number of medical experts present were 24 with specialties in 11 fields like gastroenterology, cardiology, diabetes, gynecology, ophthalmology, pediatrics, ENT, dentistry, dermatology, chest and orthopedics.  More than 650 patients benefited from the activities of the free medical day that was held at Bamsa Primary co-ed school, where free medication were distributed, medical examinations conducted and in addition to that, 22 patients were identified for further medical treatment and minor surgical interventions, which the Goodwill Campaign will follow-up on.  Orange Jordan’s support and participation in the free medical day comes in line with its strategic partnership with the Jordanian Hashemite Fund for Human Development (JOHUD) and reflects its commitment towards performing its humanitarian duties in the local communities. This stems from its Corporate Social Responsibility strategy, inspired by the most important goals of its five-year strategy Essentials 2020, which puts community service across all segments and sectors at its core.
