4 Oct 2016
With the upcoming conclusion of season two of Orange Jordan’s Business Innovation Growth (BIG) program, which targets entrepreneurs, the company recently announced the opening of registration to a new round of Jordanian entrepreneurs, encouraging them to participate in reaching their dreams and goals for their companies in new markets. Orange Jordan invites all of those wishing to participate in BIG Season 3 to start the application process by registering and submitting the necessary forms through the following link: https://goo.gl/forms/VfeOLIAizIXTeNXc2. Registration was opened on September 9 and will continue through the beginning of October, with season 3 officially beginning on October 20.As it did in previous seasons, Orange plans to open up new, promising horizons to the selected candidates during BIG Season 3 by enrolling them in the Orange Global network, helping them reach leading mentorship and growth programs on a world-wide level, and offering marketing support and guidance with the opportunity to network with professionals, specialists, and potential investors at various workshops and exhibitions both locally and internationally. In addition to the technical and managerial support received, the participating startups will be offered an evaluation of and strategic planning for their current situation, pinpointing specific areas in which they could develop and grow and providing them with a fully-equipped space with proper infrastructure, furniture, high-speed internet, and telecommunications services all suited to their professional endeavors.Orange Jordan will also offer startups who take part in BIG to benefit from the company’s diverse resources, as well as extra support from its partners Oasis 500 and Roya TV and the opportunity of receiving direct financing through Orange’s global investment fund for digital projects, Orange Digital Ventures.Orange Jordan launched the first season of its BIG program at the end of 2015 to support young entrepreneurs and grow the SME sector, ensuring its continuity and contributions to improving the economy. The program comes as part of the company’s corporate strategy Essentials 2020, of which one of the key pillars is focusing on comprehensively and strategically supporting business entrepreneurship in the Kingdom. The program aims to support SMEs that still need guidance and to provide a ready work-environment for these companies to push their businesses, focusing on the development of many important pillars such as investment needs, product improvement, customer development, and business support.-END-
