Orange Jordan launches the “Minhaji” interactive book project in twenty public schools with UNICEF and the Ministry of Education

​Orange Jordan recently signed a strategic agreement with the Ministry of Education (MoE), UNICEF, and their digital training development partner e-Learnment to launch a dynamic digital project called the interactive e-book “Minhaji” following the successful pilot launch of the project last year. This project is directed toward digital education in twenty public schools, and aims to provide students with interactive activities to be used in place of the activities in traditional paper-based books in more interactive content for those students in grades five and six for math and science.  Orange Jordan, in cooperation with the UNICEF will provide Twenty public schools with electronic curricula in the form of easy-to-browse e-books, solution supported by Orange foundation, in addition to interactive content displayed in an appealing audio-visual format. The schools covered are from different governorates across the Kingdom, including Karak, Irbid, Zarqa, Salt, and Ramtha, in addition to Zaatari Refugee Camp. Orange Jordan and UNICEF will provide schools with all necessary equipment and tools in the form of an integrated classroom lab, in addition to internet service. A classroom at the Queen Rania Center for Information and Technology will also be furnished with the same tools and equipment and telecommunication services for the purpose of training, development and evaluation. The project will contribute to developing education in Jordan and removing an extra burden on students, replacing heavy backpacks with smart backpacks.   Commenting on the occasion, CEO of Orange Jordan Jérôme Hénique said, “We are proud to launch the second phase of the ‘Minhaji’ interactive e-book project with the Ministry of Education and e-LEARNMENT, as we constantly strive to be the leader in sparking digital transformation in education, and particularly in public schools, improving quality and results.
