Orange Jordan launches its new CSR Volunteer Club “NAMA”

​As part of its CSR strategy, Orange Jordan recently launched its new CSR Volunteer Club “NAMA” aimed at employees to participate in the company’s CSR activities with its partners in the community, such as Tikyet Um Ali, Generations for Peace (GFP), Jordanian Hashemite Fund for Human Development’s (JOHUD) and many others. The launch was held at Orange Jordan’s headquarters, in the attendance of executives and Orange Jordan’s employees.The launch of NAMA comes as part of the company’s CSR strategy, which is in line with the company’s five-year corporate strategy “Essentials 2020” which places both the customer and community as its core focus. The company’s CSR strategy focuses on four key areas including Education, Economic and Social Development (Entrepreneurship), Heath and Philanthropy.Commenting on the occasion, Orange Jordan CEO Jérôme Hénique said, “We are extremely excited to launch Orange Jordan volunteer Club NAMA, as we consider ourselves at Orange Jordan as more than just a telecommunications service provider, we are a conscious corporate citizen operating within our community bearing social responsibilities and duties as a member of society to make a substantial difference.”Hénique added that sustainable change comes from within, therefore we encourage our employees to be part of NAMA and work hand-in-hand, as their efforts will make a big difference within our community and will bring a better future to Jordan as a whole. Orange Jordan CHRO Edward Zreik expressed his pride in Orange Jordan’s CSR initiatives and said, “Launching new CSR volunteer Club NAMA was an important step, and we are sure that upon capitalizing on the motivation, skills, capabilities, dedication and loyalty of our employees, and through our comprehensive CSR programs, we will be able to play a vital role in changing our community to the better.”Orange Jordan received the Top Employer certification across the Kingdom, which was awarded by the Top Employers Institute, a global organization that runs an annual program to award employers based on employee conditions at their respective workplaces, as proper working conditions ensure that employees grow on both a personal and professional level.
