Orange Jordan recently opened its doors to welcome applications for participating in the sixth season of BIG ; Orange Jordan's growth-mode accelerator program for start-ups.Director of Corporate Communication, Corporate Social Responsibility and Public Relations at Orange Jordan, Engineer Rana Dababneh, said that this announcement came towards the completion of the fifth season of the program and the graduation of its current start-ups, and welcoming new startups who will be joining the program on the 13th of November, pointing out that the registration in the new season will continue until mid-month, and after that, the new startups who will join BIG season 6 will be selected.She pointed out that the program has achieved remarkable success since its launch in 2015, and contributed to graduating 25 companies established by talented and creative Jordanian minds to achieve their objectives through the program's different seasons, making use of the information and guidance they received which also made them eligible for integration in the labor market.Regarding the preparations for the new season of BIG, Dababneh said that the company has started preparing for the launch of the sixth season where the best projects will be selected by a special steering committee, to participate in the sixth season of the program.Orange Jordan affirmed that it will be highly supportive of the startups, through offering advisory and technical consulting, product or service design, marketing and strategic plans, and special work spaces at the BIG premises, in addition to media exposure and getting them to become part of the Orange global network, as well as facilitating their access to growth-mode accelerator programs globally. BIG; part of Orange Jordan's strategy, "Essentials 2020" targets up and running startups that need guidance and support, in order to push them forward and ensure their expansion to new markets, with the support of the program's partners, including The Information and Communications Technology Association of Jordan (int@j), Oasis500, Roya TV, iPark, in addition to providing support to receive direct funding from Orange Digital Ventures.
