Orange Jordan opens registration for the second local edition of the Social Venture Prize

​Orange Jordan is launching a call for applications from aspirants to register for the second local and the eighth global edition of the Orange Social Venture Prize. Applications may be made from March 1 until May 31, 2018. The Orange Social Venture Prize showcases regional entrepreneurs offering innovative products and services meeting the health, agricultural, educational, energy, commercial or industrial needs of local communities. Six startups will be shortlisted from the pool of applicants, to participate in the final competition and present their innovative projects in front of a committee consisting of juries who are experts in the field of entrepreneurship. In the final round, three companies will be chosen and awarded prizes worth JD 3,000, JD 2,000 and JD 1,000 respectively, in addition to getting qualified to participate in the international edition of Orange Social Venture Prize which will be held in November 2018, for a chance to win prizes worth EUR 25,000, 15,000 or 10,000. Orange Jordan is proud to launch the second local edition of the Orange Social Venture Prize, which aims to support entrepreneurs working on innovative solutions for social impact in the areas of development, social and economic progress and digital transformation.
