Orange Jordan partners with Almanaseer Information Technology to bring the Humax TV Android Box

15 Oct 2015
Orange Jordan recently signed a partnership agreement with Almanaseer Information Technology (AIT), which will bring the Humax TV Android Box to Orange's shops nationwide. The signing ceremony was attended by the Vice President of Orange Jordan's Consumer Business Unit Patrice Loze; Chief Financial Officer Raslan Deiranieh; Orange's Marketing Director of Devices, After Sales Services & Solutions Amin Unsal; and Naila Daoud, the operator's Marketing Director for Broadband, Convergence and Loyalty Marketing. The signing was also attended by the Vice Chairman of AIT's Executive Committee, Mu'een Qadada; the company's General Manager Ali Ibrahim; and a number of executives from both companies. The Humax TV Box brings a robust SMART TV suite that integrates into any existing television set, delivering a variety of content-over-IP services. Orange customers will be able to enjoy films and television shows for all age groups, enjoying their favorite channels in Full HD glory and no commercial breaks, with the added safety of advanced parental controls. The Humax Android suite also includes apps for social networking, email, web browsing and gaming, all of which is accessible from multiple devices, such as tablets, smartphones and others. Patrice Loze noted that this partnership will allow Orange Jordan further enhance the experience of its customers by offering easy access to a wealth of entertainment and connectivity options, which falls in line with the operator's continued efforts to tap into the limitless possibilities of the modern digital age. This, he added, goes hand-in-hand with the objectives outlined in the operator's Essentials 2020 strategy, the core objective of which is to deliver an unparalleled customer experience. Orange Jordan's customers will be able to obtain the Humax TV Box at highly competitive prices, both as an add-on service to the operator's ADSL bundles or as a stand-alone device, enjoying free access to leading entertainment channels that include ICFLIX, Starz Play, Selevision and GoPlay.AIT's General Manager Ali Ibrahim also commended this strategic agreement with Orange, which he believes will greatly benefit Jordanian users by providing a one-of-a-kind experience and an ever-expanding database of multimedia content. The service, he explained, also offers cord-cutters access to live broadcasts of their favorite channels without the need of a satellite receiver. He added that this agreement was only possible due to Orange's robust internet services, which offer the bandwidth and stability required for a seamless video on demand experience.
