Orange Jordan provided its platinum sponsorship for the 8th Akhtaboot job fair, which took place on 13 and 14 September in the Amman Grand Hall at Al Hussein Youth City. Orange Jordan showcased a range of vacancies for visitors and young people seeking for work in its booth, as well as gave them a glimpse of its identity, framework, products and services. Orange Jordan also supported the participation of the six startups joining BIG season 4 through their own booth to showcase their projects to the visitors at the exhibition. The Group CHRO, Jérôme Barré visited the job fair along with OMEA HR VP, Clotild Boury, Group Internal Communication VP Françoise Cosson and Orange Jordan CHRO Edward Zreik. Commenting on the occasion, Orange Jordan CHRO Edward Zreik said: “Orange Jordan aims to be present at job fairs and seeks to find new and diverse youth experiences, as well as look for graduates with new specializations to recruit and benefit from them in Orange Jordan.” He added that Orange Jordan’s participation for this year was different and special, as it focused on two things, namely: to search for energetic youth and new specializations and the second is to support and showcase the entrepreneurial projects of the startups joining BIG season 4, which is one of the entrepreneurial projects that help support entrepreneurs in various stages of their work, help them expand in new markets and reach more customers from different segments. The program offers its services utilizing the diverse resources of Orange Jordan and through its ever expanding global network. This sponsorship is considered to be one of the many sponsorships, that Orange Jordan provides to enhance the job market in order to reduce unemployment and empower humans. As well as reduce the gap between the academic outcome and the current market demand, which will lead to providing the Kingdom with more skilled and productive people, thus positively reflect on society and the economy, which falls in line with Orange Jordan’s corporate social responsibility strategy, stemming from its five-year corporate strategy “Essentials 2020”. -End-
