Orange Jordan recognizes BIG Season One participants, kicks off Season Two

​​​(Amman, Jordan – April 10, 2016) – Concluding its premiere season of Business Innovation Growth (BIG), Orange Jordan recently held an event that served as both a closing ceremony in celebration of all participating startup businesses in the first season (season I) of BIG, and  welcoming Season 2. The event was held at the Grow Building at the King Hussein Business Park where Orange  Jordan BIG carries out its operations It was attended by Orange Jordan CEO Jerome Henique and senior management of the company, CEO of OASIS 500 Yousef Hamidaddin , CEO of Roya TV Fares Sayegh, various media and press representatives, and the members of the startups themselves. During the ceremony, Orange Jordan signed a partnership agreement with Play 3arabi, a social mobile games publisher focused on the Middle East & North Africa region, whereby Orange Jordan will sponsor its Arab Race Game. Play 3arabi was one startup among an impressive list of other startups in BIG Season One, including Masmoo3, Trevx, DIGAT, and Yaqot. Commenting on the occasion, Orange Jordan CEO Jérôme Hénique said, "We at Orange Jordan could not be more pleased with the results of the debut season of our new BIG program. It was an honor to work with all of the startups involved, and I am proud of our strategic partnership with Play 3arabi. We look forward to commencing round two of BIG with our carefully selected participants that were chosen based on a thorough set of criteria, and we anxiously anticipate meeting more young entrepreneurs that will play vital roles in shaping Jordan's future." Hénique went on to say that the successful execution of BIG is a major achievement for Orange Jordan. Falling in line with its corporate strategy Essentials 2020 and its corporate social responsibility goals, its support of aspiring young Jordanian entrepreneurs in achieving their startup dreams is a testimony to Orange Jordan's  aspiration for an economically successful and self-sufficient Jordan. Through BIG, Orange Jordan supports startups by giving them exposure and high-level introduction to their respective markets via Orange Jordan's active international and local startups ecosystem, securing them access to its business hub to enrich their products and services, sourcing investment opportunities within Orange Jordan and associated funds and boosting their growth through an acceleration program, mentorship, and various events. Launched last year as part of Essentials 2020, BIG aims to support, guide, and contribute to the growth of new Jordanian startups as they expand into new markets and reach more customers, focusing on investment needs, product improvement, customer development, and business support.
