Orange Jordan renews its partnership with Jordan University to meet the needs of its students and faculty

​Orange Jordan renewed its partnership with Jordan University recently. The partnership aims to meet the needs of academic faculties, administration and the students at the university. The agreement was signed by Mr. Jérôme Hénique, CEO of Orange Jordan and Dr. Azmi Mahafza, President of the University of Jordan and in the presence of a number of executives from both groups. According to the agreement which will continue for a year, a Koisk will be installed at the university campus, though which a variety of Orange Jordan telecommunication services will be provided, most notably the ability to pay bills in the Koisk, to facilitate the lives of staff and students. The services will be integrated with those of the postal office as well, in order to offer exceptional and customized telecommunication services.Upon signing, Hénique stated that Orange Jordan will continue offering a variety of telecommunication services to facilitate students’ lives, through the Koisk on campus, where the company seeks to focus on the youth segment in society, by providing the needed support, as it believes that they are the leaders of the future.Hénique noted that the long-term partnership formed between Orange Jordan and the University of Jordan is an example of the cooperation between both the private and academic sector.Dr. Mahafza emphasized the efforts made by Orange Jordan at the University of Jordan and its outstanding contributions to supporting science, to be a role model in the partnership between the academic and private sectors.He also said that the university is committed to providing all the services to its students, and that the partnership with Orange Jordan is one of the many partnerships with the private sector that seeks to develop the concept of cohesion between the academic and private sector, to ensure harmony between both on several levels whether it is scientific research, advanced services or matching the academic output with the labor market.This agreement falls into a series of agreements and collaborations between Orange Jordan and prestigious academic institutions within the framework of its five-year strategy Essentials 2020, which aims to contribute to developing the local information technology and telecommunications sector through providing it with the competencies that the company is working on establishing academically, practically and at the highest levels.-End-
