Orange Jordan selects 6 startups to join Season 8 of BIG program

​Orange Jordan announced selecting 6 startups to join the season 8 of its startup accelerator program (BIG). The specialized jury evaluated the projects during an online session due to the current situation, and then BOB, Ship Cash, PartMan, ION Microsystems, Tanda and Accessible Jordan were selected.The new season will start at Orange Digital Village in Al-Abdali, after the relocation of BIG platform there. The Digital Village represents the most important entrepreneurial and youth initiatives by Orange Jordan. These initiatives encourage innovation and contribution in the national economy. This season will be the first to take place at the new headquarters, with an emphasis on adherence to defense orders and measures to ensure public health and safety.The preparations for season 8 coincide with a new agreement signed by Orange Jordan and Changelabs, the leading business accelerator in the region, to manage the program and enable participating startups to benefit from a wide network of programs under the umbrella of Changelabs, which specializes in early stages for startups and link them to the international entrepreneurial community as part of Orange Jordan's endeavor to continuously enhance the program and add new features that suit the aspirations of Jordanian entrepreneurs.Orange Jordan affirmed its commitment to support entrepreneurship sector and support youth through BIG program and other initiatives, to enhance their efforts in the socio-economic development, in addition to accelerating the digital transformation that the company devoted its resources and initiatives to support, as part of its corporate social responsibility, which focuses on youth as a priority, due to its importance in the progress of different sectors. The jury includes the Managing Director of AB Ventures, Faisal Hakki, General Manager of Roya TV, Fares Sayegh, CEO of iPARK, Omar Hamarneh and as a Deputy Chairman of the Board of Directors of Information and Communications Technology Association- Jordan (int@j), Eng. Nidal Bitar, CEO of Oasis500, Lama Fawaz, CEO of Orange Jordan, Thierry Marigny, Chief Enterprise Officer at Orange Jordan, Sami Smeirat, Chief Consumer Market Officer, Naila Al Dawoud and Deputy Executive Director of Digital & Innovation at Orange Jordan, Eng.
