Orange Jordan sponsors the 9th “Arab Future Programmers” competition

​Orange Jordan has recently sponsored the "Arab Future programmers" competition in its 9th edition and awarded the winners with ten mobile devices.  The competition, considered the biggest of its kind at the school level, is held annually by the Applied Science Private University in cooperation with Queen Rania Center for Education and Information Technology. Students between the tenth and twelfth grade participated in the competition, which aims to discover creative programmers in Jordan and Arab countries, motivate and develop their skills, in addition to encouraging competitiveness and excellence in science and technology. The "Arab Future Programmers" competition consisted of two stages, the first held online with 142 teams from 8 Arab countries: Jordan, Algeria, Iraq, Palestine, Egypt, Morocco, Saudi Arabia and Syria, and the second held on campus with15 teams participating. Finally, 10 winners were selected to receive scholarships in the Faculty of Technology Information at the university. The winners of the competition are Khalil Khaled Hussein Al-Adhami from AlHassad AlTarbawi Schools, Muhammad Alaa Al-Warawreh from King Abdullah School of Excellence in Madaba and Noor Al-Bazour and Nour Abdullah Al-Shamayleh from Codability initiative. Sponsoring this competition falls in line with Orange Jordan's ongoing efforts to enhance the programming scene in the Kingdom, as the company devotes part of its corporate social responsibility strategy train talented programmers, such as Coding Academy by Orange, which will be welcoming its second cohort after the outstanding success of its first. Orange Jordan continues to enhance coding which has become one of the most promising sectors, to create more job opportunities for youth and cater to companies in need of qualified programmers and technical experts that stay updated with the latest global developments and in-demand programming languages, enabling them to contribute to economic progress and digital transformation.    -END-
