Orange Jordan sponsors Scientific Telecom Day

​Orange Jordan sponsored the Scientific Telecom Day, which was recently organized by the Retired Jordan Telecom Group (JTG) Club Association and Telecommunications Regulatory Commission (TRC), at Orange Jordan's Business Innovation Growth (BIG). The participants discussed the latest developments in ICT sector and how to improve it.Orange Jordan said in a press release that the event is of a importance because the organizing association is the company's social arm that enables the company to stay in touch with the club's members and benefit from their expertise. Also, the company efforts to develop ICT sector by adopting initiatives and supporting such events is led by its position as the Kingdom's telecom partner and leading provider of the strongest internet. The participants discussed research papers, shared experiences in ICT field and attended lectures that updated them on the latest developments in the sector, especially those of social interest to enhance cooperation between the concerned parties including TRC, the International Telecommunication Union, and experts in the local market, that would contribute to the sector that serves the kingdom in its various fields. The speakers discussed the history, growth and development of telecommunications in Jordan, alongside TRC's policies and how it serves telecom companies and customers.In JTG's welcoming speech, Eng. Manal Durgham praised Orange Jordan's sponsorship for the event and its CSR programs in all fields, along with its ongoing support to JTG Retirees club, and expressed her appreciation for the company's executive committee, represented by the CEO, and for all employees.It is worth noting that JTG club association was established in 2012, the first of its kind for the retirees of the oldest Group in the telecommunications sector, that aims at developing its members socially, economically, and culturally. -END-
