Orange Jordan supports the Kingdom’s four field hospitals

​Orange Jordan provided 160 lines and devices to four field hospitals located in the north, middle, and south of the kingdom, in coordination with the National Center for Security and Crisis Management and cooperation with the Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship. This step falls under the company's efforts to support the kingdom and the medical sector in particular to combat the spread of Covid-19. The company offered support, based on information provided by the National Center for Security and Crisis Management in response to the pandemic, to enable the medical cadres to utilize digital solutions in performing their tasks and staying connected to what matters to them. Supporting the medical sector during the crisis, Orange Jordan previously donated USD 100,000, and EUR 120,000 in cooperation with Orange Foundation to support the Ministry of Health efforts, in addition to granting mobile lines to nurses at quarantine hospitals valued at JOD 130,000.   CEO of Orange Jordan, Thierry Marigny said that the company is keen to provide support and harness its digital resources to curb the spread of the pandemic, noting that since the beginning of the crisis the company continues to respond to the various requirements of users and sectors alike. The efforts to back the Kingdom in its fight against the medical, social and economic consequences stem from the company's role as a responsible digital leader and the kingdom's digital partner and its corporate social responsibility. Orange Jordan provided a total of JOD 1,300,000 to support the government in dealing with the pandemic, including a donation to the "Himmat Watan" fund, and to daily wage workers, enabling free browsing of online educational platforms, among other initiatives.    -End-
