22 Aug 2016
As part of its social responsibility toward the local community, and responding to humanitarian duties, Orange Jordan recently transported an urgent medical case at its own expense from Princess Iman Hospital in Dhiban, Madaba to Al-Hussein Medical City.Orange Jordan’s assistance in this case stems from the agreement that the company previously signed with the Jordan Air Ambulance Center (JAAC), under which it provides the center with a bundle of integrated telecommunications services, including bulk SMS services, wireless internet, and web hosting for two years, in addition to sponsoring the center’s various operations: providing specialized rescue services to patients and helping to emphasize medical tourism in Jordan.Orange Jordan stated that supporting such cases falls in line with the company’s corporate social responsibility strategy regarding the local communities in which it operates, especially when working side-by-side with the health sector and improving medical services in the Kingdom, in addition to enhancing the tourism sector and driving travel to Jordan for medical purposes. The partnership with JAAC is in line with Orange Jordan’s five-year corporate strategy “Essentials 2020”, which places customers and community service at the forefront of its concern. The company called on large companies in the Kingdom to extend support of the center for its humanitarian services and its part in promoting Jordan’s image abroad.Orange Jordan is the leading telecommunications company in the Kingdom, providing fully integrated telecommunication services to more than five million subscribers, including mobile and fixed lines, internet, and content and data exchange, in addition to business solutions to enterprise customers. Last year, Orange Jordan launched its Essentials 2020 strategy, which streamlines its focus on offering customers a truly unmatched experience.-END-
