Orange Money Wallet Promotes Digital Financial Services

17 Aug 2021
In the wake of the COVID pandemic, many Jordanians adopt digital services to conduct their financial transactions, as is the case across many countries. Adopting e-wallets became a trend with the acceleration of digital transformation, and Orange Money Wallets are a vivid integrated model to showcase this use. E-wallets are the easy and convenient digital replacement where Orange Money, with its features, managed to have a clients base exceeding 300,000 subscribers, with financial transactions valued at JD 88 million during 2020. These numbers translate Orange Jordan's thrive of meeting the demands and aspirations of the e-wallets users from the different networks across the Kingdom, which contributed to the financial inclusion, whereas the company held many partnerships to adopt the e-wallets solutions and utilize them in donating to charities, expanding the exchange companies' network and offering many e-vouchers. The services integration enhances the e-wallets efficiency and reliability in the Jordanian market, where Orange Money allows to pay for any of eFAWATEERcom services, using the accompanying Visa card to shop locally, internationally, or online, and to pay through QR codes, noting that there's a strategic partnership with the Housing Bank for Trade and Finance to enable mobile payments with the wallet's accompanying card or without, through HBTF's ATMs network, which is the largest in the Kingdom. In addition to the payment services, Orange Money Wallet enables the users from recharging their lines, paying Orange bills, receiving local transfers, cash deposit and withdrawal from any Orange shops or the authorized point of sales, partners, or ATMs with or without a card, in addition to receiving the salary, and buying e-vouchers. Orange Jordan continues to enrich the services offered through Orange Money wallet in line with its role as a responsible digital leader, and its vision for digital transformation in the different sectors and levels, including financial transactions, amid acceptance from more users to have digital solutions that save time and effort and simulates the several life requirements.   - END-
