In continuation of Orange Jordan’s support to the national sports teams, CEO Philippe Mansour cheered the Basketball National Team at Prince Hamzah Hall in their opening match against the Palestinian National Team within the first window of FIBA Asia Cup 2025 qualifiers. The first debut of the Falcons was marked by their victory by 73 points to 46.
The National Team provided a good performance throughout the match that took place in Al Hussein Youth City where a number of Orange Jordan’s management team showed up to support the Falcons in their opening match. The team continued its outstanding performance in its second match with the Saudi National Team in Jeddah by 89 points to 64.
Mansour praised the National Team Players’ performance and expressed his happiness to attend the first match which marks the first debut of the team. He also expressed his pride in the extended and strategic partnership with Jordan Basketball Federation which is one of the most esteemed national sports institutions. Thanks to the JBF’s leadership, the National Team was able to achieve multiple outstanding milestones such as qualifying for the Asian Cup 16 times, reaching the 2011 Asian Cup’s Finals, and winning the second place, in addition to participating in the World Cup 3 times.
It is worth mentioning that the partnership between Orange Jordan and Jordan Basketball Federation is rooted back to 2019. Since then, the Company sponsored the 2020-2021 season, including the Jordanian Premier Basketball League, including the editions that target all age groups, the Women’s League and the National Team’s matches in the 2021 FIBA Asia Cup qualifiers, in addition to the World Cup qualifiers and the World Cup matches.
