OYIL Graduates Its 5th Batch of Students

​Since its launch in 2015, Orange Yarmouk Innovation Lab (OYIL), located at Yarmouk University's Hijjawi Faculty for Engineering Technology, formed a milestone in the practical life of the students benefiting from its training program. The program is usually held during the last semester, within this framework, Orange Jordan and Yarmouk University celebrated last week the graduation of the fifth batch of students for 2020. The graduation ceremony was attended by the dean of Al-Hijjawi faculty for Engineering Technology, Prof.Muwaffaq Al-Otoum and the manager of Entrepreneurship and Innovation Center at Al-Hijjawi College of Engineering Technology, Dr. Mahmoud Al Mestarihi.The students received certificates at the end of the intensive six months training, after completing courses in different fields including applications developments using Java, Android apps, web design and development, in addition to soft skills such as effective communication, presentation, writing, business ethics, and leadership skills.   Orange Jordan reaffirmed the importance of this lab that is considered one of its kind in the Kingdom, where it forms a link between training and preparing graduates for the labor market by providing them with the needed skills to enhance their employability to excel. OYIL graduated 140 students since its launch, stemming from the company's commitment towards youth as part of the "Training for Employment" concept, and supports its role in supporting the national economy and its different sectors with skilled talents to contribute in its advancement. The company stated that this training program reflects its commitment to its CSR strategy and its role as the Kingdom's digital partner, where this partnership with Yarmouk University enables in supporting and empowering youth, elevating the educational outcomes, bridging expertise with academic knowledge and labor market , to become active members of the society.   This lab is a result of strategic partnership between Orange Jordan and Yarmouk University, translating their ongoing aim to train and prepare youth on the labor market needed skills in line with the global trends and reinforcing creativity and excellence.  -END-
