Orange Jordan continues to support the Model United Nations (MUN) held for students of grade 8 to 12 (Tawjihi) from the Modern English School, National Orthodox School, and Jubilee School, to contribute to growing the student’s skills through extracurricular activities.
The Model United Nations focused this year on harmony by stressing the importance of partnerships, and collaboration and encouraging individuals to work together.
The activity aims to enhance the student’s skills in constructive dialogue, debate, and knowledge sharing by adopting an interactive method based on discussion, critical thinking, and effective communication, in addition to highlighting the most pressing global issues.
Orange Jordan’s recent MUN support is an extension of its support to previous models to enable students to identify issues with future implications in an environment that simulates one of the key international organizations and equips them with essential skills for their professional and personal progress.
The company affirmed its keenness to support activities for youth as part of its corporate social responsibility strategy, which focuses on innovation and enhancing education to keep pace with global developments and empower youth for more opportunities in the job market and entrepreneurship.
Hundreds of thousands of students across the world participate in the Model United Nations every year on all educational levels. Many leaders in law, government, business, and the arts, including the United Nations, were active participants in the Model United Nations.
