Orange Jordan's CEO, Philippe Mansour, said that the company's 5G network is the latest in a long line of cutting-edge technologies that the company has brought to the Kingdom, which will enable new business solutions, while providing added value to users.

Mansour told Jordan News Agency (Petra) that Orange Jordan launched its 5G services in Amman and Irbid in the first stage, as these two cities are home to many leading businesses in various sectors, noting the company’s continuous expansion of the 5G network to more areas under a defined plan.

Describing what distinguishes 5G, Mansour highlighted the tremendous and unprecedented potential this technology offers to users, as it enables higher speeds and enhanced connectivity.

Orange Jordan utilized the expertise of the global Orange Group, which has previously launched 5G in many European countries and Botswana in Africa, Mansour said, pointing out that 5G required massive investments to develop networks, as well as the proactive development of skills to meet the expected needs.

Mansour affirmed that launching the 5G aligns with the new strategic plan of Orange Group "Lead the Future” which aims to generate value from the group's excellence in its core businesses, drive its sustainable growth, and continue to benefit from its strengths, including infrastructure and unique expertise to drive the development and transformative leaps on the digital level.

According to Mansour, 5G will provide many opportunities to promote innovation, as Orange Jordan continues to provide solutions for businesses, including advanced connectivity and cybersecurity. He also noted that the new technology will empower the entrepreneurial ecosystem in Jordan with new capabilities and create jobs, which will open up opportunities for youth.

Regarding the offers that the company has launched to provide the new technology, Mansour said that Orange Jordan’s offers and services are designed to be competitive and to meet the needs and expectations of different customers, whether individuals or businesses.

Mansour said that Orange Jordan seeks to remain at the forefront of digital transformation by providing the latest technologies, innovative solutions, and reliable networks to users all over the Kingdom, so that they can have unmatched digital experiences. Today, the company’s constantly growing customer base has reached more than 3.7 million.
