Orange Jordan grants nurses mobile lines worth JD 130,000

​In recognition of the amazing work done by nurses nationwide on the frontlines against the pandemic, Orange Jordan granted 4,500 free mobile lines to Jordanian nurses working in the hospitals that are handling the medical isolation of infected and suspected Corona cases, as  a recognition for what they are sacrificing for the sake of the country's  safety from this pandemic . The company clarified that this support was delivered the lines, worth JD 130,000, through the Jordan Nurses and Midwives Council, as an appreciation for the efforts paid by every nurse working on the frontline to prevent the spread of coronavirus, protect Jordanians' lives and ensure they receive the required healthcare.  Amid such pressing circumstances, the company said, the mobile lines provided and charged for 3 months will help the nurses perform their national duty, keep them connected with their beloved ones and everything that matters to them.Orange Jordan asserted in a statement that this initiative is stemmed from its role as a member of the Jordanian family, and its corporate social responsibility, noting that it is keen to enhance the spirit of solidarity during the current situation for the good of the Kingdom and its people. The company noted that nurses work around the clock to defeat this pandemic and prevent its spread, to ensure public health and safety are loyal heroes who deserve to be honored. Orange Jordan has taken several steps to support the medical sector, considering the recent developments. The company donated USD 100,000 to support the Ministry of Health's efforts and offered subscribers free browsing of Ministry's online platform "Hakeem", which was launched in cooperation with the Electronic Health Solutions Company, to enable chronic diseases patients to request their monthly refills electronically. As the Kingdom's responsible digital partner and leader, Orange Jordan is contributing to raising social awareness under its campaign "Stay Home, Stay Safe, Stay Connected" to stand on the importance of following the precautionary  measures in line with of the Ministry of Health's instructions. Also, the company praised the role of the Kingdom's dedicated workers in security, education, and healthcare fields who are ensuring the safety of all Jordanians via the company's social media platforms. -END-
